How a UK fashion brand passed £2M in online revenue
A UK fashion retailer with strong products and a store that couldn't sell them — rebuilt, re-ranked and relentlessly conversion-tested into a seven-figure channel.
Where it started.
The brand came to us with product-market fit already proven — sales were happening in person and through marketplaces — but the own-brand online store barely converted. Category pages buried the best sellers, mobile checkout took seven steps, and the store was effectively invisible in Google: page three for its own product categories.
Ad spend was carrying the whole channel, and every increase in ad costs came straight out of margin. The brief was blunt: make the store earn on its own.
What we did about it.
We rebuilt the store around how its customers shop: collection architecture matched to search demand, product pages restructured to answer sizing and quality objections up front, and a checkout compressed to two steps with the trust signals UK buyers expect.
SEO ran in parallel from day one — technical cleanup, category-level keyword mapping, product schema, and a buying-guide content layer that captured shoppers still deciding. Every month, conversion testing shaved friction off the funnel: image galleries, delivery messaging, payment options.
Nothing exotic — just every fundamental executed properly and compounded over months.
What the numbers say now.
Within the first year, organic became the store's second-largest revenue channel — and its most profitable. The conversion rate more than tripled from the starting baseline, which meant every traffic source, paid included, suddenly produced more.
The store has since passed £2M in tracked online revenue, with organic search delivering around 40% of it at effectively zero marginal cost. Ad spend is now a growth lever, not life support.
